No, Stirtime is designed for powders or liquids. It is not to be used with solid food or ice. However, soft foods like peanut butter can be used with Stirtime.
What do I do if my impeller is spinning out of control?
Turn off the device and when you turn it back on, be sure to slowly increase the speed.
Are there any safety precautions with the impeller?
The impeller is made with FDA compliant food grade plastic. Don’t be afraid to leave it in the container, with the lid on, when consuming liquids.
Is it safe to put the impeller in the microwave?
No. The impeller is not microwave safe.
Can I wash my Stirtime containers in the dishwasher?
Yes. All Stirtime containers, including the impeller are dishwasher safe! Avoid putting the wooden lid for the carafe in the dishwasher.
Can I use hot liquid with Stirtime?
Yes, you can use liquids up to 155℉ in the glass carafe for mixing things like powdered hot chocolate. Handle the carafe carefully and protect your hands while doing so as it will be hot to the touch.
Do I have to use the timer?
No, the timer is optional.
How do I know if the device is on and working?
The green light indicates the device is turned on and if you’re using the timer, the light will turn red when the set time has expired. The red light indicates it has stopped stirring.
How do I know when my Stirtime is charging?
The green light indicates the device is turned on. The light on the charger will be red when your Stirtime is charging and if you’re using the timer, the light will turn red when the set time has expired. The red light indicates it has stopped stirring.
How do I know when my Stirtime is fully charged?
The light on the charger will turn green when your Stirtime is fully charged.
What should I do if I need to feed a bottle to my baby and the battery is completely dead?
You can use the Stirtime by plugging in the charger.
Can I use my own top containers?
You can try! Stirtime containers are specially designed to optimally work with the impeller and base.
Yikes, I accidentally destroyed my impeller in the garbage disposal! What now?
Don’t worry. You can buy the impeller and all the top containers individually.
